Our lab team works in the development of new therapeutical strategies to cancer treatment, with a focus on the construction of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells, working with different strategies to improve their functionality against solid tumors.

We also study molecular mechanisms of T cell exhaustion related to the extracellular matrix, with a focus on the PD-1/PD-L1 axis.
